Another week, another poll. Getting to Know You Which of these random comedies is your favorite?
Young Frankenstein (1) Raising Arizona (0) Napoleon Dynamite (0) The Jerk (3) This is Spinal Tap (1) Waiting for Guffman (0) Arsenic and Old Lace (0) Dazed and Confused (2) Meet the Parents (2) Philadelphia Story (0)
Total Votes: 9
It wasn't the most scientific of polls, perhaps, what with the options being comprised of whatever popped into my head at the moment. I have to wonder if there were really three people who loved The Jerk more than the other options, or if Cap'n Disaster voted for her favorite movie multiple times. Slightly disapointed that Meet the Parents got more than one vote; I'd thought better of you, my blog monkeys! At least Young Frankenstein got some love at the last minute; not sure who voted for it, but odds are it was either Coronela or my mom; it most definitely wasn't Flunky or Pooh.
I didn't personally partake in this poll, for once; have a hard time choosing between several of them. Plus, there are so many good ones I left off the list: Lost Skeleton of Cadavra, Shaun of the Dead, Clue, Super Troopers, There's Something About Mary . . . so, I opted for "no comment."
As you could probably tell, I was scraping the bottom of the barrel of ideas last week, so now I have to ask: is it worth it to y'all for me to keep messing with it? Or should the weekly poll go the way of the dodo? And do I really care, or am I just stalling yet again because my New Obsession has burned out all of my creativity? You decide!

And, consequently, now so do I.
Oh, I'm picking out a thermos for you
Not an ordinary thermos for you . . .
It wasn't me that picked Young Frankenstein since I hadn't visited your blog in a while, but I was disappointed at not having the chance to participate in the poll (you are right, I would have picked Young Frankenstein). We were just talking about that movie this past week at work and how great it is!
