4-Color Fri. - Silencers' Golden

Short and sweet comic review this week.

Silencers: Black Kiss TPB: Entertaining series published by Moonstone about a gang of super-powered mob enoforcers. As the series opens, Cardinal, the leader of The Silencers is planning faking his own death so he can finally get out of the business. Of course, this being the first issue of a series, things don't go quite as planned, and the team finds themselves caught up in a power struggle between their mob and the mysterious Syndicate. Try not to get too attached to any of the characters; not everyone gets out alive. My favorite scene involves the planning and exectuion of a break-in to a building which is highly reminiscent of the Hall of Justice. Looking forward to seeing the further adventures of Cardinal and his gang.
